Pop-Up Marine Discovery Display
VENUE: Streaky Bay Visitor Centre, 21 Bay Road,
ABOUT: Skulls, shark eggs and sea creatures are just some of the treasures you’ll uncover when you visit the Pop Up Marine Discovery Display in Streaky Bay this summer. The highly interactive display enables participants to learn about the habitat and life cycles of local coastal wildlife whilst using scientific tools including plant and animal guides, a microscope and an eye clops to have a close-up encounter with sand, coral and salt loving plants. The display will also touch on the importance of marine parks and what can be done on a local scale to increase species’ chances of survival.
