VISIBLE NEW COMMUNITY PROGRAM – HOT WEATHER POLICY
Due to predicted extreme/catastrophic weather forecast for Tuesday 4–Thursday 6 December 2018 the VISIBLE art workshops and installations works taking place on the Streaky Bay foreshore at Doctors Beach, Eyre Avenue and Campbells Landing will be effected.
The program has been affected by the following changes:
Workshops venues have changed
SCHOOLS WORKSHOPS have been moved to a school site and therefore are inaccessible to the general community.
Other COMMUNITY WORKSHOPS have been moved to the Institute Hall, 29 Alfred Terrace, Streaky Bay * ACCESS VIA Supper Room.
Other workshops are heat dependent and;
Access to and interaction with artists at the art installation sites may be minimised
Artists working on site on art installations at Doctors Beach, Eyre Avenue and Campbells Landing may only be onsite on occasion in the early morning before 11am and late evening just before 8:30pm.
While the general community can still view the art installations we advise that there may not be artists at art installation sites during the day to interact with. Their onsite presence may be restricted to occasions in the early morning and very late afternoon.
The VISIBLE TEAM and the artists sincerely apologise for this. The safety and wellbeing of participating artists and participants is paramount in such difficult weather conditions.
